What are Open Buying Days?
Open Buying Days are opportunities for non-current vendors (merchandise and fixtures) to have an audience with a TSC buyer.

When is the next Open Buying Day?
The date for the next OBD is Friday, November 15, 2019 at 7:30 AM CST.

When are the registration dates?
The appointment request period opens Monday, October 14, 2019 at 9:00 AM CST and closes Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12:00 PM CST. There is not a waiting list. Appointments will not be considered after the apppointment request period closes.

Where will it be held?
Embassy Suites Nashville South Cool Springs

How often will they be held?
Three times per year.

How will the process work?
Vendors must complete the online appointment request form. Submissions are reviewed and appointments are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Specific appointment times cannot be requested or rescheduled. Vendors will be notified within 3-5 business days of submitting their application whether they have received an appointment or not.

If approved, a thirty minute appointment will be scheduled with a Buyer in your category. During each thirty minute meeting, the vendor will meet one on one with a buyer. The vendor should focus on convincing the Buyer that there is a viable business reason to schedule a follow up appointment.

If a follow up appointment is needed the Buyer will notify you and schedule the appointment.

Who is invited to participate?
Any non-current vendor (merchandise and fixtures) who desires to become a vendor to TSC and who did not previously attend an Open Buying Day.

Vendor prerequisites - do your homework!
  • Spend time on www.tractorsupply.com.
  • Visit a Tractor Supply Company store.
  • Vendor products must (broadly) fit the categories that fit TSC's "niche."
